These sidewinder machines are not noisy like most there is no impact screw so eliminates the clicking sound on the body
I use o-rings on the armature bars which makes the machine quieter

This machine I've tweaked and done some small changes so it will run cartridges and standard needles. For running cartridges you only need to loop a rubber band or 2 over the armature bar and onto the nipples below shown in the last picture.
